I have lived my entire life in New England, and to say that the sea is important to me would be an understatement. The ocean is a realm of its own, unfathomably deep and full of secrets. Mountains, deserts, and plains are wonderful to visit, but the coast is my home. Water is calming to the soul, in its touch, scent, sounds, sight, and even taste. Not only does water soothe the senses, it is an inspiration and source of life to all.
