Polaroid SX70

Little Squares of Magic

There’s something magical about instant photography. The aesthetic of a Polaroid simply can’t be replicated. These little square images are nostalgic, imperfect, and have a beauty all their own.

My own Polaroid work deals primarily with still life and landscape photography. I find the resulting images tend to look dreamy, sometimes gritty, and always unexpected. Whether it’s something commonplace, like a bouquet of flowers or a piece of fruit, or something a little more special, like the light falling in a forest in the early morning hours, Polaroid captures the scene in a unique way that only Polaroid can.
